Native Arts Under the Portal

Hosted by the Friends of Coronado & Jemez Historic Sites Saturday, Oct. 1 - Sunday, Oct 9
(except for Tuesday, October 4, when the historic site is closed)
From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
A wide variety of Native Artisans' arts and crafts will be for sale under the Portal at the entrance to the Coronado Visitors' Center. Artists will be available to talk about their work with you, and will change each day so there will always be more for you to see.
Food will be available so stay and enjoy a picnic at one of the sheltered picnic sites or participate in one of the Docent Tours at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 and 2:30 p.m at the site's regular $7.00/person fee. Directions to the site and a preview of what you'll see when you visit, are below.

Water: Cold bottled water is available for sale in the Gift Shop
Parking: Signs will guide you to convenient parking areas.

After you turn off I-25N at exit XXX, the site is located along NM Highway 550, 1 mile west of Bernalillo and 16 miles north of Albuquerque. Turn at Kuana Road and follow it to the site..
