Learn to build an Horno - a traditional        adobe oven

Learn to build a horno in a 3-day workshop:  June 9, 10, 11, 2023

Work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with master builder Jerome Benevidez of Kewa Pueblo (Santo Domingo).

Workshop limited to 15 participants at the Jemez Historic Site in Jemez Springs.

The cost is $50 per day ($10 discount for FCHS members).  Three days' attendance includes admittance to the Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites and a year's membership in the Friends of Coronado Historic Site (FCHS).  Wear work clothes and gloves and bring your lunch; water and light snacks will be available.

Workshop free for enrolled tribal members.

A picnic lunch on the final day will be provided for all.
