Help us achieve our goals  !

In addition to helping maintain the sites and increasing public awareness, we also provide funding for research, yearly academic awards, Coronado and Jemez Docent Programs, as well as support community outreach through archaeology programs, a yearly lecture series, museum exhibits, school programs, and more.

Members can choose to take part as volunteers, leaders, or participants in our workshops, day or overnight tours, hikes, and a variety of events that promote further understanding of our local area and its history.

Volunteer opportunities include working at the Gift Shop, Trail Maintenance, and assisting with the planning and execution of our activities, as well as becoming a Historic Site Docent (tour guide).   These opportunities become available to you only if you become a member of the Friends.

Learning about our local history and sharing this knowledge with others is both enjoyable and satisfying. Come join us. We look forward to working with you.
