Be a Coronado Historic Site Volunteer

The staff at the Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites have many volunteer activities you can perform either for the site itself or for the Friends.  The following lists are only a few of the ways you can help. If you are interested in volunteering at the site, contact Ranger Annie Campagna for details: (505-867-5351) annie.campagna@state.nm.us

  • Historic Site Docent

  • Kuaua and/or Giusewa Pueblo Researcher

  • Historic Preservation Assistance

  • Grounds and Trail Maintenance

  • Gardening

  • Event Planning and Coordination

  • Photography

The Friends of Coronado Historic Site also have volunteer opportunities in which you can participate.  Is there a task on the following list that interests you? Contact us using the form below to ask a question or offer your assistance:

  • Gift Shop Sales Person:  Meet interesting visitors as well as introduce them to many handmade gift items not available elsewhere.

  • Plan or Assist in Special Event Planning or Volunteer on an Activity Committee:  Both are great ways to meet other Friends as well as support the site and our goals.

  • Website Staff: help inform members and visitors to fully enjoy both historic sites and their activities

  • Serve on the Board of Directors:  Plan and administer Friends' activities in support of each site
